Christmas 2005

Feliz Navidad!
Holiday Greetings from Mexico

We hope this year has been as good for all of you as it has been for us. For the first time in many years we will not be shoveling snow this winter... and as much as we miss our family and friends back home, we won’t miss shoveling the white stuff.

Most of you know that we had the boat (“Dreamweaver”) in San Diego working on her most of the year and began our adventure by cruising down the Baja coast to Cabo San Lucas on October 31st with about 130 other boats. We are currently in LaCruz, just outside of Puerto Vallarta for the holidays and will head South to Zihuatanejo (about 100 miles from Acapulco) before heading back North into the Sea of Cortez for the spring.

The big news this year is that Kim is living in Breckenridge and she and Scott Holguin are getting married in Big Bear in August this year!! Also, this summer Keri is graduating from Nursing School in Sacramento and will then move back to Lake Tahoe, where she has lived for the last 5+ years. We will be taking care of our neighbors (The Wilson’s) cottages for a while in July. Therefore, we plan to leave the boat in San Carlos and be home for a few months this summer. We hope we can see many of you thenů. Unless of course you need to get away and come see us in Mexico before then!

We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to pursue some of our dreams this year and we really thank all our family and friends for all the support and encouragement that has helped make our cruising fantasies a reality. We wish our family and friends back home, as well as our new cruising buddies, a happy and healthy holiday season and encourage you to pursue your dreams... they really are fun!!! “May your adventures take you to where only your dreams have dared to go”.

Love to you all and please do stay in touch!

P.S. Sorry about the email Christmas Card but it is the best way to get something sent out from Mexico!
